PATIENT VIDEO DIARIES |
This new section is intended to help the prospective patient truly understand the day in and day out recovery process through the eyes of patients who have already gone through it. Unlike the original “Video Journeys” section in which patients talk about their experiences at predetermined postoperative visits in my office, the “Patient Video Diaries” are filmed by the patient principally at home on a daily basis so that you can see and understand their thoughts and feelings about their recovery process every day. I personally would like to thank my patients who have been gracious enough to open up their home and their privacy during a very private time for you, the prospective patient, to understand the recovery process more in depth. My principal goals for this section are to educate and alleviate the fear that comes with uncertainty that may arise about what you would experience after a cosmetic procedure. Please remember that individual perceptions and experiences vary greatly among patients and procedures, so please do not look at these diaries to be steadfast and accurate reflections of what you will experience. They are only meant to provide examples of recoveries by patients who are willing to do so.
