Corrective Rhinoplasty Photo (buckled deformity of middle nasal vault from trauma)
This woman sustained major trauma to the nose creating a buckled deformity of her middle nasal vault (the upper lateral cartilages). She underwent open rhinoplasty to shave down and resculpt the central third of her nose to create a more seamless integration of that part of her nose with the remainder of her nose. She is shown with improvement but not a perfect result.
