Botox™ Treatment
FDA-approved Botox™ has become a mainstay in the treatment
of wrinkles that appear only when you move your face such as when you lift
your forehead, frown or smile. Typically, Botox™ treatments last approximately
three to four months or slightly longer. Botox™ treatment primarily offers
the following cosmetic benefits:
Wrinkles from smiling, frowning and raising your forehead become less apparent

Face Lift
The past ten years has witnessed an explosion in cosmetic facial
surgery. Techniques have advanced now so that the long recovery time is
a thing of the past. The wide incisions, numbness, and swelling that were
characteristic of cosmetic surgery in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced
by smaller incisions and less invasive surgery. Many more cosmetic
surgery options for the face are also available to the patient who does
not desire any downtime.
While at Lam Facial Plastics we feel that a face lift is an important component
in terms of an overall strategy for facial rejuvenation, we feel it applies
to the lifting of the jawline and neck only. We rarely feel that the cheek
or brow needs to be elevated. The technique we use only requires a limited
incision that does not extend into the hair-bearing area.
